I'm modeling a baby dragon for my company's (Vermont Digital Arts) demo reel. Maya and ZBrush are my tools of choice for modeling now. Monday I'll have Mudbox 2009 in my tool chest to tryout.
These images are works in progress. On this particular model I'm creating in a more improvisational than preconceived methodology. Using both ZBrush and Maya allows me to quickly explore, refine and pose my works in progress so I can see more possibilities.
Afterward I will further refine and add detail to the rest of the character.
