Wings and Things

I worked a bit more on the wings, feet and tail. Still needs work but I'm cruising now.

These were rendered in zbrush when it wasn't crashing.

Dragon Sculpt

Here is the update rendered in zbrush. It keeps crashing when I mess with lights, shadow and other render options. I'll render in Mental Ray with displacement map tonight.

The wings and tail have been neglected for some time. I'm working on those now.

Moving Along

We have had days of ice sleet and snow. The weather forecast always underestimates the snow here at the studio.

Baby is coming along. Zbrush keeps crashing when I render with "fancy lighting and rendering settings"

Details

Sculpted the head and hands a little more. I'll try to do more before the next winter storm hits tonight.

I was able to work on the face some more this morning. More to come...

2009: It's About Time

Happy New Year. I haven't done anything on the dragon since the ice storm a few weeks ago. We lost power for almost 5 days. Then a cornucopia of never ending holiday obligations (not to diss them) occupied all my free time and then some.

Now that it is 2009 the work will flow while the snow falls. I just re-rendered the dragon so I could evaluate my next series of actions.
